For Veterans

So after going through the links that I have saved, I found that the VA web site has become much easier to navigate and find what you’re looking for. At the top of the site you will see where it says search, whatever it is your looking for just type in the word or words like “community care,” or “urgent care” and the results page will provide the best link at the very top of the page, just under the search box. There are certain links you will have to log into your account for such as appointments, secure messaging, your VA disability documents and letters, etc. If your having issues finding your VA facility numbers, the “Find a VA location” at the top of the page will take to the page where you can find the numbers to every VA facility in the country. On the locator page, just use the “use my location,” and click on the up / down arrows to select the specific type of facility your looking for, easy! Most every other question can be answered by either your Primary Care team, Patient Advocate, or the National Call Center at this number 1-877-222-8387. If you have questions about VA disability compensation, education benefits, or DIC (Dependent Indemnity Compensation), please use this number 1-800-827-1000 and listen for the menu prompts to guide you to the representative. Other than that, the search feature is your best option for finding what your looking for.

If you or now a veteran in need of help, call the VA Crisis Line: 988 then press 1, or text 838255.
